The Financial Aid Process De La Salle Institute is using The FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment Service to conduct financial need analysis for all families. Financial aid does NOT automatically renew. If you wish to receive financial assistance, you must complete an application each year. Financial aid is awarded to students based on financial need. The goal of the Financial Aid Committee is to award the most amount of money to the greatest number of families. Funds within this program are limited and no full scholarships are awarded. Eighth-grade students who are interested in attending De La Salle Institute must take the entrance exam at De La Salle Institute. Students who take the test at De La Salle Institute are eligible to apply for financial aid. The window for incoming freshmen for submitting completed applications is February 17, 2010 through April 1, 2010. The window for current students for submitting completed applications is January 1, 2010 through April 1, 2010. No financial aid applications will be accepted after April 1st. De La Salle Institute reserves the right to prorate the amount of the scholarship award if a student is receiving outside scholarship assistance. The $500deposit must be paid in order for the financial aid application to be processed. Notification of final financial aid awards to all qualified students will be mailed out by Friday, May 14, 2009. Applying OnLine Some of the benefits of applying online are:

However, if you wish to receive a paper application, you must submit a request in writing. Please include the student's name and I.D. number. Financial Aid Organizations Various outside scholarship programs support students who attend De La Salle Institute. Listed below are links to those programs. Student Loan Programs Below are links to financial institutions that provide education loans. These loan programs provide another tool to help parents finance their child's education. In general, the loan can be repaid over 20 years at competitive interest rates. Families can borrow up to the total cost of tuition and other education-related expenses such as books, computers, musical instruments, sports and other extracurricular activities.
